Volunteers

Whether this is your first Eastercon (or any sort of convention) or you are an experienced congoer, it should be obvious that a lot of fun is here to be had. A good way of getting involved – especially if you are a bit uncertain to start with – is to help out. It can be rewarding and satisfying as well as a great way of getting to know like-minded people.

And if you help out at this con, groats are available. Groats are our way of showing appreciation to those who help out – they are tokens worth £2 which you can spend at the bar or restaurant here, or with some of the dealers (check with them; you might still have to pay ordinary money!).

If you are an overachiever and do 10 hours or more, you’re a special person and the Volunteers team have an exclusive tote bag for you!

To volunteer to help out, ask any time at the Operations Hub in the Lisburn Room in the Hilton Hotel.

We are working to build our team of fellow volunteers, both before and during the con, online and in person.
